Sabam Siagian
Sabam Siagian (born May 4, 1932 Jakarta) is an Indonesian journalist. He served as the first editor in chief of ''The Jakarta Post''. Siagian departed the ''Jakarta Post'' in 1991 upon his appointment as Indonesia's Ambassador to Australia.
Siagian was succeeded at the ''Jakarta Post'' by Susanto Pudjomartono, who served as the newspaper's second chief editor from 1991 until 2003.〔
